What began as a simple fundraiser turned into something bigger when people kept telling me the same thing: "This reminds me of my grandmother's cake" and "I haven't had caramel like this since I was a kid down South."
That's when I knew I had something special. My secret? I make caramel the old way, the way it was meant to be made. Slow-cooked to the perfect consistency so it soaks into every layer. Combined with a moist, buttery cake that stays tender for days.
